VECTOR successfully delivered the full redevelopment of a landmark building in Kato Patisia, Athens, on behalf of DIMAND, in close proximity to the city center. The project reflectsVECTOR’s expertise in complex urban redevelopment, combining a strong focus on preserving the building’s distinctive architectural identity with the integration of modern, high-performance systems. The design approach ensured that the external character of the building remains intact within the urban fabric, while its overall performance has been significantly enhanced to meet contemporary standards of sustainability, energy efficiency, and functionality. Internally, the building underwent a complete transformation, with all spaces redesigned to accommodate modern workplace requirements. The result is a flexible, functional, and user-centric working environment that maximizes natural light, improves spatial efficiency, and enhances overall user experience and productivity. At the same time, an advanced upgrade of the electromechanical (MEP) installations was implemented, incorporating advanced, environmentally friendly technologies that improve energy performance, reduce operational costs, and significantly enhance both safety and comfort levels. The redevelopment includes seven above-ground floors and two underground parking levels, with a total gross area of 11,700 sq.m., while also contributing to the broader regeneration of the Kato Patisia area. Particular emphasis was placed on the surrounding outdoor space, where the addition of more than 200 plants, shrubs, and trees creates a green urban environment, improving the microclimate and upgrading the aesthetic quality of the neighborhood.
