VECTOR delivered the conversion and expansion of the existing IKEA Pick-Up Point in Rhodes using the EPCM (Engineering, Procurement & Construction Management) delivery method. The project included the refurbishment and internal reconfiguration of the existing 800 sqm ground-floor retail space, as well as its expansion into an 850 sqm basement area. In addition, a new 700 sqm warehouse facility was constructed within the basement of an adjacent building to support the store’s operational requirements. The scope of works also involved structural strengthening interventions, the construction of two staircases and three elevators to ensure seamless connection between the ground-floor and basement retail areas, as well as façade modifications to enhance the building’s overall appearance and functionality.
