In 2013 there was completion of the construction and upgrade of IKEA store in Patra, including the upgrade of the parking area. The building consists of an underground warehouse, ground-level store and offices.
The works performed included the construction of a metal structure perimetrically to the building, interior and exterior coatings, flooring of all areas using covering and laminate, installation of plaster board and mineral fiber false ceiling in all office areas, including a metal grid ceiling in the sales area.
With regard to electrical-engineering works, there was installation of air conditioning-ventilation throughout the building and water-drainage-fire fighting installation. Finally, there was performance of electrical and structured cabling installations.
In the surrounding area there was paving and plantation of part thereof, as well as lane marking of the parking area and installation of curbs and pavement slabs peripherally to the building.
